3 Responses to Speech by Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro at the opening of the 74th United Nations General Assembly – New York, September 24, 2019 – video.
I Think that Bolsonaro has balls. Ballsonaro. No but really, he seems like a self confident leader and I think he might be good for Brazil.
Now to my critique of some of the speach.
————————————————————–
Brazil consists of 8.500.000 Square kilometers of land. Brazil has got maybe 200 million inhabitants. And Brazil might only use a mere 8 percent of their territory for food production.
8.500.000 divided with 100×8 is 680.000. Not fully 10 percent of the Brazilian land area or just over 5 percent of the land area is agricultural.
————————————————————–
France and Germany perhaps use more than 50 percent of their territory for growing crops and for animal grazing.
If we suppose that there are 80+ million people in Germany and a total of 350.000+ square kilometers of land.
There are 60+ million French Citizens on an area of 640.000 square kilometers of land.
What does this tells us? Barely 150 million German and French people live on 1 million square kilometers of land.
Germany’s 350.000+ square kilometers divided with 100×50 is 175.000 square kilometers of agricultural land.
And for France 640.000+ square kilometers divided with 100×50 is 320.000 square kilometers of agricultural land.
———————————————————–
Germany’s and France’s agricultural land equals nearly 500.000 square kilometers and their added populations equals 150 million people. Compare that with Brazils 680.000 square kilometers with 200 million people.
So I would say yes, Brazil grow some more crops than France and Germany together, per inhabitant.
Brazil export agricultural products to China. Bolsonaro said several times to the Chinese that Brazil is interested to improve business with China, but not to sell our country to them.

I Heard Bolsonaro invite China. Watch out for the Devil! China is not a well wisher!
